Formulated for children ages two and up, it can be applied directly to the chest or throat or diffused.
Additionally, there are essential oils that help support healthy sleep, which can be used in conjunction when feeling unwell, to make sure your body is getting the sleep it needs to recover.
In addition to these essential oil blends, individual essential oils can help with congestion relief. These include eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender, tea tree, and lemon. Try combining two or three of these oils to create a blend that works best for you. You can even leave them in your diffuser overnight to promote clear airways while you rest.
If you want immediate relief, try rubbing a few drops of peppermint oil on your chest or dropping a few drops on the floor of a steamy shower. Add several drops of eucalyptus oil to your shower and enjoy its calming scent. For long-lasting relief, try applying lavender essential oil directly to the chest or neck area.
At the end of the day, essential oils have helped me support a healthy immune system and maintain a clear airway. You can find the perfect blend that works best for your needs with some experimentation.
Stay healthy out there!
